Each rain barrel purchased already includes a spigot assembly. The spigot assembly is comprised of a spigot and a male to male nipple with a rubber gasket. The nipple gasket creates a tight seal against the bottom side of the rain barrel to prevent leaking. The spigot threads onto the nipple. The spigot requires only a single quarter turn to open fully and therefore has time saving advantages over full tap connectors which require multiple turns to open. The spigot is also threaded and can accept a standard garden hose or a clear dispensing hose.

    Hi, I would like to order replacement spigots as well. We’ve had our rainbarrel for over 10 years, and the only thing that’s gone wrong is the spigot, which was not the spigot’s fault.

    Hello,
    We have 2 of your rain barrels that are greatly used in our raised-bed garden community. One of the spigots is very stiff and quite difficult to close fully so at times the barrel will empty when I think it has been closed.
