What is a spigot assembly?
The spigot assembly allows you to release water from your rain barrel. It is comprised of a spigot and a male to male nipple with a rubber gasket. The nipple gasket creates a tight seal against the bottom side of the rain barrel to prevent leaking. The spigot threads onto the nipple. The spigot requires only a single quarter turn to open fully and therefore has time saving advantages over full tap connectors which require multiple turns to open. (insert link to partner sale page)

What is a clear dispensing hose?
A clear dispensing hose attaches to the bottom of the rain barrel. The hose clip is secured to the top side of the barrel with a metal screw that is included and the spigot is threaded to the top end of the hose. The hose can be cradled in the hose clip and the spigot can be operated without having to reach down the the bottom side of the barrel. The clear hose also displays the water level in the barrel. What is a Downspout Diverter?
The Universal Downspout Rain Diverter attaches to standard downspouts including 2×3, 3×3 and 3×4 sizes. It can simultaneously supply up to six rainwater collection devices such as rain barrels, pools, hot tubs and ponds. It regulates the volume of water that enters a rain barrel and therefore prevents excessive overflow through the top of a rain barrel during heavy rain events. How does the rolling composter work?
Create your own compost to keep your garden healthy! Our rolling composter includes two wooden feet, a set of 4 casters and a repurposed food grade barrel with a removable lid. The barrel has been drilled with openings to allow air circulation and water to drain. Stand the barrel on its bottom, remove the lid and add kitchen waste. Secure the lid, lay the barrel on the casters and roll the barrel to mix the contents.

What is a Rain Tank ?
For the VERY serious water harvesters! Collect 1000L/275 gallons in a tank. These used, food grade tanks are comprised of a galvanized metal frame with a pallet (metal, plastic or wood) and a plastic HDPE bottle. The rain tank has a top fill cap and a bottom butterfly or ball valve. Some tanks include a plastic cap with buttress or NPT thread for the bottom valve which can be drilled to accept our garden hose spigot assembly.
