A 7/8 inch hole saw creates the appropriate sized opening to receive our spigot assembly. All rain barrels offered here are already pre-drilled, so a hole saw is not required. This product is offered for individuals who plan to make their own rain barrels using our spigot assembly.
Filter Basket
Additional or replacement filter basket keeps leaves and mosquitoes out of the rain barrel.
Product Details
All rain barrels that require a filter basket already include a filter basket when purchased. The filter basket is comprised of a rigid, durable plastic ring and a flexible black mosquito netting basket. It will provide years of reliable service and will not rust or become brittle like other products that use metal screens or rigid plastic baskets. Our filter basket is removable to permit cleaning of leaves and other debris. It has been designed to fit into a 6 inch diameter opening to accept downspouts of all standard sizes and yet small enough to prevent children from accessing the interior of the rain barrel.
Dispensing Hose
Clear dispensing hose and clip eliminates the need to bend and reach down to the bottom side of the barrel.
Product Details
A clear dispensing hose fits between the spigot and the male to male adaptor that joins the spigot to the rain barrel. The hose clip is secured to the top side of the barrel with a metal screw that is included and the spigot is threaded to the top end of the hose. The hose can be cradled in the hose clip and the spigot can be operated without having to reach down the the bottom side of the barrel. The clear hose also displays the water level in the barrel.
Overflow Adaptor
Water overflows out through the T-outlet. It is also used to connect barrels in a series.

Each rain barrel already includes a T-shaped overflow outlet which fits snugly into a 1+7/8 inch (just under 2 inch) overflow opening at the top side of most rain barrels. A single outlet handles overflow and provides the option of connecting additional rain barrels in series. The black T-shaped outlet accepts 1.5 inch overflow hose on one end and is closed on the second end. The closed end can be easily cut open if a second rain barrel is to be connected in series.

A flexible downspout pipe directs water from a downspout to a rain barrel and fits 2×3 and most, but not all 3×3 downspouts. They are available in 2 ft and 3 ft lengths. Most homeowners reuse an existing downspout elbow or use a flexible downspout pipe or a downspout diverter to redirect water into a rain barrel. 8 Ft Additional Overflow Hose
1.5 inch diameter overflow hose is 8 feet long.

This 8 foot hose is also 1.5 inches in diameter and permits water to be directed further away from the rain barrel and to distant lawns and gardens. It can also be cut to size to join rain barrel overflow outlets together or used as a substitute diverter hose.
24 Ft Additional Overflow Hose
1.5 inch diameter overflow hose is 24 feet long.

Each diverter kit includes a single flexible and expandable diverter hose that extends up to 32 inches. An extra diverter hose may be required if more than one rain barrel is being connected to the same diverter. Please note that the 1.5 inch diameter of this hose is the same as the overflow hose product sold on our website, so the overflow hose can also be used to replace a damaged or missing diverter hose.
Downspout Diverter
Universal Downspout Rain Diverter attaches to standard 2×3, 3×3 and 3×4 downspouts.

The Universal Downspout Rain Diverter attaches to standard downspouts including 2×3, 3×3 and 3×4 sizes. It can simultaneously supply up to six rainwater collection devices such as rain barrels, pools, hot tubs, ponds, etc. It regulates the volume of water that enters a rain barrel and therefore prevents excessive overflow through the top of a rain barrel during heavy rain events. It simplifies the winterization of rain barrels as it is installed once and can remain in place during the winter. There is no need to repeatedly remove and re-attach the lower downspout every spring and fall. Winter caps replace the outlets to seal all openings. The diverter includes a single 1.5 inch diameter flexible and expandable hose that stretches up to 32 inches. Additional diverter hoses can be purchased separately or longer lengths of 1.5 inch overflow hose can be purchased to perform the same function as the diverter hose.
Wooden Rain Barrel Stand
Rain barrel stands are made from recycled end-cuts of 2×4 lumber.

Rain barrel stands are made from recycled end-cuts of 2×10, 2×8 and 2×6 lumber, so no additional trees were cut to produce this product. Boards can be stacked in alternating directions, 8 levels high to create a stand that is 1 foot tall. A solid base of gravel, bricks, cinder blocks or a 2×2 patio stone is recommended. The exact same boards can be secured together with 3.5 inch wood screws to create a 2 foot tall, bench-style stand, however the wood screws must be purchased separately from your local hardware store.
3 Ft. Flexible Downspout Pipe

Each rain barrel purchased already includes a spigot assembly. The spigot assembly is comprised of a spigot and a male to male nipple with a rubber gasket. The nipple gasket creates a tight seal against the bottom side of the rain barrel to prevent leaking. The spigot threads onto the nipple. The spigot requires only a single quarter turn to open fully and therefore has time saving advantages over full tap connectors which require multiple turns to open. The spigot is also threaded and can accept a standard garden hose or a clear dispensing hose.
