We work with municipalities across Canada and USA
to coordinate rain barrel sales for their residents.
We have distributed over 100,000 repurposed and new food grade drums, specifically for residential rainwater collection purposes through municipal and fundraising sales.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND A PROVEN RECORD OF EFFICIENT TRAINING AND DISTRIBUTION:
Since 2010, we have partnered with non-profit organizations that host local fundraising truckload sale events and municipalities that distribute rain water collection products including barrels, downspout diverters, stands and hose. We fully support our non-profit partners through ongoing training and logistical and marketing assistance, providing every partner with a manual that details how to host a safe, efficient and profitable truckload rain barrel sale, detailing volunteer job descriptions, health and safety tips, site-plans, a list of required supplies and successful, field-tested, marketing strategies. A unique web-page is dedicated to each non-profit partner to explain the purpose and goals of their local fundraising initiative and to detail rain barrel products offered, prices and the location, date and hours for customer pick up. Where a community has a significant bilingual population, we prepare web pages in additional languages. In addition to partnering with non-profit organizations, RainBarrel.ca has also provided a full complement of staff to operate municipal truckload sale events, the largest of which distributed in excess of 1500 rain barrels over a 4 hour period.
EXPERIENCE WITH MANY MUNICIPALITIES AND LARGE EVENTS:
RainBarrel.ca has coordinated over 500 truckload rain barrel sales since 2010. In 2011, we coordinated 5 simultaneous truckload sale events and distributed over 6000 rain barrels for The City of Ottawa, with only one week notice following a broken water main. We have hosted truckload rain barrel sales for the Town of Grimsby, Township of Fort Erie, Greater City of Sudbury, City of Hamilton, Halton Region, City of Brantford, the Toronto Zoo and for Earth Day Hamilton-Burlington at the Royal Botanical Gardens. The Walkerton Environmental Advisory Committee hosted a sale using RainBarrel.ca products to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of their water tragedy. We have supplied The City of Guelph, Town of Richmond Hill and The Township of Ramara and hundreds of non-profit organizations with rain barrels. We schedule more than 180 fundraising truckload sales each year and supply thousands additional rain barrels to municipalities and other major distributors. We have distributed over 60,000 rain barrels in Canada and we began expanding into the US in 2015, distributing over 6,000 as of November.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL:
After coordinating over 500 truckload sale events, we have seen and experienced most everything. We pioneered rain barrel online pre-orders that greatly simplify event day administration. We work with your staff to create a plan that considers all logistics from site planning for efficient distribution to pedestrian safety and parking capacities. We can supply human resources for staffing the event or work with your staff and volunteers to ensure our years of experience assist in making your event the most efficient, safe and successful possible.
