Does the overflow hose equal the maximum of water input to prevent barrel overflow? Based on the description of the water level hose, the assumption is it easily connects to the garden hose for barrel water use?

A downspout diverter is required to manage overflow adequately or a second and third overflow outlet would need to be added to handle the heaviest rain falls. The dispensing hose will connect to a garden hose or the garden hose can be connected directly to the male to male adaptor that joins the spigot to the barrel.

Can you tell me if the lid is removable or not

Hello Liz, The blue and white barrels have fixed lids but the terracotta has a removable lid. Leah

My rain barrel works great. I am wondering if the filter screen net is available to buy? Eventually it may need to be replaced.

Hi – Yes, you can buy individual screens by emailing me your order and where you’d like to pick it up. They are $5 each. Over the past 5 years, I haven’t heard one complaint about them though so, you may want to save your money if yours is fine right now! All the best, Leah@RainBarrel.ca

I’ve just pre-ordered and purchased my first rain barrel online and will be coming to pick it up on Sunday June 8th. Exactly where do I have to go for pick-up? Fairy Lake Park is rather large :)

  20. June 5, 2014 9:25 am

When you enter the main gate, someone will direct you. Tell them you are picking up a rain barrel. You can pick it up just past the first parking lot on your right hand side
