Newmarket Windfall Ecology Centre
RainBarrel.ca is pleased to partner with Windfall Ecology Centre in support of their Rain Barrel Sale Event in York Region.
Orders are now being taken for a June 8th and 9th 2013 pickup date. Distribution will be from 10am-4pm each day at Fairy Lake Park in Newmarket. No household limits and no residency requirements are imposed however, only barrels ordered in advance are guaranteed to be available.
Each rain barrel comes fully equipped with a leaf and mosquito filter basket, an overflow adaptor that permits multiple barrels to be connected in series, 1.2m of overflow hose and a spigot that attaches directly to a garden hose. The price is $50 per barrel if you pre-order or $60 if you order on site. (Additional overflow hose can also be purchased if required.)

“506 Water St, Newmarket”. Entrance is just west of railroad tracks.)- Since you have ordered a rain barrel online, it is guaranteed, so there is no need to rush to stand in line at 10am. Take your time, avoid the line and show up when it is convenient before 4pm
- Bring your Receipt and credit card if not prepaid
- Receipt is emailed to you
- PayPal purchases cannot be released without a receipt/proof of purchase or identification.
- For unpaid barrels, we will only accept credit card (Visa and MasterCard) at the sale event.

This optional clear hose connects between the bottom side of the barrel and the spigot. It displays the water level in the barrel and eliminates the need to reach down to control the spigot. A plastic clip and metal screw are included to secure the hose to the top side of the rain barrel : $5.00

Each rain barrel includes 4 feet of overflow hose. Customers have the option of purchasing an additional 12 feet ($10) or 24 feet ($15) to run overflow water further away from their rain barrel.

The Universal Downspout Rain Diverter attaches to standard downspouts including 2×3, 3×3 and 3×4 sizes. It can simultaneously supply up to six rainwater collection devices such as rain barrels, pools, hot tubs, ponds, etc. It regulates the volume of water that enters a rain barrel and therefore prevents excessive overflow through the top of a rain barrel. It simplifies the winterization of rain barrels as it is installed once and can remain in place during the winter. There is no need to repeatedly remove and re-attach the downspout every Spring and Fall. Winter caps replace the outlets to seal all openings. Regular price : $40.
