Could you provide the height of the different rain barrels? Thank you.

Hi Cheryl, Barrels vary between 36 to 42 inches tall. Since these are recycled and come from several sources, there will be variations. For more information see: http://rainbarrel.ca/products/ Leah@RainBarrel.ca

My husband has a question: do they need to be hooked on the eavestroughs or do they collect the rain for the hole on top anywhere?

Hello there! The barrels have a screened opening at the top and could collect water anywhere however, a downspout or other aparatus helps them fill much faster. Some people set up a tarp between two trees, posts or roofs without downspouts to help funnel the water in. One good rainfall and it’s full! Thanks for asking, Leah@RainBarrel.ca

    HI

Is it possible to pickup a rain barrel ordered by someone else? I have friends that would like one and I would pick it up for them. What do I need to do that?

Hi Cathy, No problem. Just ask them to order it in your name if they haven’t already done that. Or if they’ve ordered already, have them send us a copy of the receipt with their request for you to pick it up. Thanks – what a great friend you are! Leah@RainBarrel.ca

Ordering for the sale is closed, but I know that there are a small number of extra barrels available for purchase, on a first come, first serve basis at the sale.

However, you might try calling Tanya at 613-686-1842, and see if she will reserve you a barrel.
