In 2011, RainBarrel.ca in partnership with Earth Day Hamilton, invited local artists, schools and organizations to participate in our first Annual Earth Day Rain Barrel Art Auction. Rain barrels collect free rain water from roofs and provide a source of chlorine-free and fluoride-free water which is ideal for vegetables, flowers, lawns, shrubs and trees. They also provide measurable cost savings for homeowners by reducing water meter bills.
