The District’s rain barrel program promotes local green infrastructure to capture rainwater from roofs and save it for later use, such as watering gardens and flowers. In order to promote the use of rain barrels, the District has partnered with us to provide low-cost rain barrels to Cook County residents. 

Free shipping is included for barrels and any accessories ordered with them. Each rain barrel includes a 2 ft. flexible downspout pipe. Delivery may take up to 30 days.

There is a limit of 2 subsidized rain barrels per Cook County residential address. All orders must be reviewed and approved by MWRD before delivery is authorized.
