RainBarrel.ca is pleased to partner with The Garden City Optimist Club of St.Catharines to raise funds for local youth and community care programs. This Optimist Club says: “We are an all ladies club and we have raised funds for our local RAFT Youth Hostel. We also support a local Guiding Unit nutritional snack program and sponsor a soccer team! We also support the chilhood cancer campaign and we offer information to parents and children about Internet Safety and we also support the Respect for Law and we honour two crossing guards every year at our summer bbq. Optimists Helping Kids!!”

Orders are now being taken for a Saturday April 14th, 2012 pickup date. Distribution will be from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at First Grantham United Church (next to Ina Grafton Home for the Aged) 415 Linwell Road, St. Catharines, Ontario L2M 2P3 (Back Parking Lot). No household limits and no residency requirements are imposed however, only barrels ordered in advance are guaranteed to be available.

Each rain barrel comes fully equipped with a leaf and mosquito filter basket, an overflow adaptor that permits multiple barrels to be connected in series, 1.2m of overflow hose and a spigot that attaches directly to a garden hose. The price is $50 per barrel. (Additional overflow hose can also be purchased if required.)

Rain barrel pickup

• Saturday April 14th, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• First Grantham United Church 415 Linwell Road, St. Catharines (beside Ina Grafton) rear parking lot
• Since you have ordered a rain barrel online, it is guaranteed, so there is no need to rush to stand in line at 9:30 AM. Take your time, avoid the line and show up when it is convenient before 12:30 PM.
• Bring your Receipt and CASH if not prepaid
• Receipt is emailed to you
• PayPal purchases cannot be released without a receipt/proof of purchase or identification.
• For unpaid barrels, we will only accept CASH at the sale event. Credit and debit cards are NOT accepted on the day of the event
